What are the maximum speeds for winter tyres?

Winter tyres maximum speed ratings are as follows:

 

Q rated tyres: 99mph

T rated tyres: 130mph

H rated tyres: 149mph

V rated tyres: 149mph

ZR rated tyres: 150mph and over

 

If your vehicle is capable of travelling above the speed rating of your winter tyre you are legally required to have a sticker, usually placed on your windscreen to remind you and the police of the maximum rated speed of your tyres.
