Why should I fit winter tyres?

Winter tyres use a softer tyre compound which allows them to perform better than other standard tyres, particularly when temperatures drop below 7 degrees, usually fitted between Ocober and March/April.

 

Safety - Winter tyres can, at 20mph, stop 11 metres shorter than summer tyres.

Performance - Winter tyres can allow you out and about and give you the peace of mind that a little bit of snow wont stop you.
