GISLAVED Tyres

Swedish based Gislaved trace their rubber roots back to 1893, producing their first car tyre in 1905 for the very first volvo.

The company merged with Viking tyres in the 80's to produce a Nordic giant in the tyre market before being taken over by the worlds second largest manufacturer, Continental.

Gislaved tyres have come a long way in a century and are now producing over 2.3 million tyres per annum. Gislaved are one of the market pioneers in winter tyres, harnessing the expertised given from living through such hostile winters.

Whilst the companies tyres are sold in Europe and the U.K it lists its most important markets as Japan, America and Canada.
