BMW have done it again, they have created a truly exceptional car which performs more like a super than an everyday hatchback. We're talking about the BMW M135i, the most powerful and fast BMW 1series you can get today. The mighty beast boasts great handling from the rear wheel drive, this combined with stiffer suspension and a 3.0 litre turbo charged straight six engine gives the BMW a very impressive performance. The 135i comes in either a 3 or 5 door and has a choice of manual or auto gearbox. The 135i comes with an added body kit giving it that more aggressive appearance; twin exhausts pipes, which only come on the 135i and blue brake calipers. These subtle changes make the styling of the BMW 135i standout to the trained eye but maybe go under the radar to the non-car enthusiasts. Getting down to the nitty gritty, you will find that 135i has superb handling, driving both the manual and auto, you will find yourself propelled with breakneck speed to 60mph in 5 seconds, this car is fast, like ballistic fast. The car travels through the gears with effortless speed and gives for an excellent driving experience. As you would expect with a BMW the 135i is astoundingly reliable. With added safety features of six airbags in the car, reminders telling you that you haven't fastened your seatbelt and the ESP fitted as standard. Not only do you get incredible performance the 135i also is a practical as any other 1 series in the range. The car comes in at just a little over £30k and gives you about 26mpg which isn't great but is more than acceptable for a car with such high performance. All in all an incredible car for the money. If you want a car that will chase down a supercar then the BMW 135i is worth a look.
