Is the Avon ZZ5 a Ultra High Performance Tyre? One of Avon's flagship performance tyres the Avon ZZ5 has recently been recognised in the 2013 fast car magazine awards. Designed for medium sized high performance cars the ultra high performance tyre won the award for Long Lasting performance in the 2013 Fast Car magazine awards. The Avon ZZ5 was developed across European race tracks and testing was even carried out at the now legendary Nurburgring for high speed durability testing allowing Avon to implement the vast wealth of knowledge it has gleaned from it's experience in motorsport. 
The ZZ5 has always been a favourite amongst driving buffs, particularly among those looking for a solid track day tyre without the compromise on road use.
