General FAQs

What happens if the tyres I order are out of stock?

Last updated: September 21, 2025

Our website is updated every couple of hours, and stock is checked twice a day. However, there are some cases where multiple orders come through at the same point and in this case we'll contact you to offer a refund, a discount on a superior alternative plus the amount already paid off, or a partial refund in the case of a cheaper alternative being chosen.

At tyres.online, we help you compare tyre options from leading retailers across the UK. Our platform allows you to easily compare prices, specifications, and fitment options to find the perfect tyres for your vehicle and budget.

When selecting new tyres, it's important to consider factors such as your driving style, typical road conditions, and seasonal requirements. Premium tyres often offer superior performance, longer lifespan, and better fuel efficiency, though budget options can provide adequate performance for less demanding applications.

Regular tyre maintenance, including pressure checks, tread depth monitoring, and visual inspections for damage, can significantly extend tyre life and improve safety. The legal minimum tread depth in the UK is 1.6mm, though many experts recommend replacing tyres when they reach 3mm for optimal wet weather performance.
