Mumbai based Ceat were first founded in Italy before establishing its manufacturing in India in 1958 after its acquistion by Pirelli. It now produces a wide range of tyres fro everything from small family vehicles to large trucks and SUVS.
Ceat tyres orignate from Mumbai in India, started to manufacture tyres in 1958 they where soon bought out by Pirelli during the 1970\'s. They have an healthy share of about 20% of the light and locla truck market in India. With production plants in India and Sri Lanka they do produce tyres for other vehicles ither than trucks, catering for Cars, Motorbikes, Tractors and avrious Plant machinery.
A relatively young company they pride them selves on always improving their designs and furthering their R & D to create the best tyre possible. They are particularly proud of maintaining thier brand value.
